Items which are not being customized with logos, custom art or Standard Block Type (straight line copy without logo) may be ordered right off our website. Personalization charges for 2-3 initials or full name in foil stamping or debossing will be automatically added by our shopping cart.
Orders which contain logos, custom art or Standard Block Type can be started on our website (items and quantities selected). However the customization instructions and artwork must be emailed to customer.service@avantguardemall.com along with the order number and contact information. Final charges will be added and arrangements made at that time.
IMPRINTING/DECORATING
While most fine leather products can be Foil Stamped or Debossed (Blind Stamping) these procedures look better on some leathers than on others. Please call for information on decoration styles and preferred imprint locations. When personalizing larger items, the use of imprinted luggage tags is strongly recommended.
Standard Block Type (straight line copy without logo) is available in several typefaces. Typefaces are available in UPPER CASE only. Please refer to our help page for Standard Block Typefaces to see examples. Cost for setup is $35.00.
SPECIAL COLOR REQUESTS
Products are manufactured in colors that are most fitting for the style and that have proven popular with our customers. However, if you require a style in a color not listed, certain color requests can be accommodated with a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces per color. Please call 1-866-388-0054 for specific details.
LOGO/ARTWORK DIE CHARGES AND SETUP
Standard Block Type Hot Foil Stamping or Debossing requires a Magnesium Die. Cost for the die and setup is $100.00 per die (includes faxing paper proof). For repeat logo orders add $35.00 for setup.
DIE STORAGE
To prevent degradation, we discard all magnesium dies 36 months following their last issue.
LOGO/ARTWORK FORMAT
Camera-ready art (black and white repro stat) must be provided for logos and logotypes. We will size as necessary and fax a paper proof for approval with no additional charge. Photocopies and fax copies are not acceptable for artwork. Unless specifically requested in writing, artwork will not be returned. Artwork is also acceptable via E-mail in PC format for Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Word (black and white format - not color). Adobe *.EPS or *.AI files are preferred.
OVERRUNS
We make every effort to avoid overruns and ship the exact quantity ordered. However, due to production and setup situations, we must make a 2% overrun allowance.
PAYMENT
All orders must be paid in full at time order is placed. We accept VISA, MasterCard, DISCOVER, and American Express. We do not accept purchase orders. We will accept a company check but processing of the check will delay processing of your order.
PRODUCTION TIME
Products verified in-stock will be ready for delivery within 3-7 days after faxed or written approval. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery of out-of-stock products. Please verify stock status when ordering.
RUSH PRODUCTION
There is an additional charge of $50.00 for RUSH production on in-stock products. Magnesium die production requires 24 hours. Accordingly, procucts that require Hot Stamping or Debossing can be ready for delivery within 2-3 days after written approval.
SHIPPING
We ship most orders via UPS and Federal Express. If requesting Federal Express or UPS Priority Service , please provide your account number.
